video for bowl B157

B157 --- $125.00>

diameter: 9"
height: 2 1/2"
shipping weight: 2lb 10oz (when asking about shipping costs, please don't forget to give me your zip code)

finish: one application of natural stain then 3 coats of high gloss spar polyurethane (with UV blocker)

COMMENTS: The cocobolo in the middle has a particularly nice grain pattern although as you can see by comparing the color to that in the bowl blank it has darkened considerably in the years since the bowl was made.

I ALWAYS POINT OUT ANYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE COMMENTED ON. THESE ARE (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED) THINGS THAT DO NOT DETRACT FROM THE BEAUTY OF THE BOWL, BUT I WANT TO BE SURE I GIVE A COMPLETE DESCRIPTION. SO ... the purpleheart on the left has a small chip-out as it approaches the top. The African blackwood in the upper left has a small, hardly noticeable, crack on the bottom and a very small section taken out of it to avoid a sharp edge. The two pieces of anigre in the middle (the yellow triangle) have separated slightly at the bottom of the joint.
