view 8: panga panga, panga panga, BOX

BOX: bottom up; mahogany, green-tinted tulip poplar, canary, paela, Peruvian walnut, mahogany

flaws/issues: The silky oak in view 6 has a gum inclusion area on the bottom, but I knew that when I used the piece and I consider it wood character, not a flaw. It shows up a little on the top of the bowl as you can see in view 1c below.

comments: Although the canary wood in view 4 does not have any of the red streaking that canary sometimes has, it is highly chatoyant. The African blackwood in view 1 is almost as black as it looks in the pics, but in a good light, you can make out the grain pattern. Nice woods throughout and a nifty little bowl.
