COMMENTS: The tulipwood in the upper left is, as tulipwood almost always is, just beautiful. The zircote at the bottom inside is very nice, with some good ray flakes. The purpleheart in the box is just slightly disappointing but otherwise the woods are very good throughout. The purpleheart at the bottom is lightly chatoyant

I ALWAYS POINT OUT ANYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE COMMENTED ON. THESE ARE (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED) THINGS THAT DO NOT DETRACT FROM THE BEAUTY OF THE BOWL, BUT I WANT TO BE SURE I GIVE A COMPLETE DESCRIPTION. SO ... the purpleheart in the upper right has a small crack and the curly maple in the upper left has some edge tear-out next to the butternut at the top. Also, the curly maple has some burn-scrapes in the same area. These should have been turned or sanded off and my failure to do so constitutes a significant error, which has reduced the price of this bowl considerably. The chechem in the lower right has a small crack that shows up slightly on both the top and the bottom. The redheart pieces have faded to brown since these still pics were taken but is shown correctly in the video.
