comments: unlike most "C4" type bowls, this one has a relatively large flat area in the middle rather than a more curved interior. I don't find that I like it any better or worse than the more curved style, but I point it out because it is different.
The verawood at the bottom is a standout --- this is a fairly rare wood and this particular piece shows off very nicely both the green color and the interlocked grain that are usually found in this wood. The grain pattern on the cherry at the upper right is very pleasing
flaws/issues: The underside of the obechee in at the top had a chisel gouge that had to be sanded down, so there is a shallow indentation at that area about the size of a dime. It's visible only if you catch the light just right, but it is obvious to the touch. The padauk at the upper right has darkened to red-brown and the cherry at the upper right has a small black wormhole.
LATER: some of the woods have darkened/faded somewhat since these pics were taken but it is basically what you see is what you get.
