B214 --- $35.00 (Clearance price because of chipped bottom)

diameter: 6"
height: 2 1/4"
shipping weight: 1lb 1oz (when asking about shipping costs, please don't forget to give me your zip code)

finish: 1 coat of natural stain then 8 coats of satin-finish spar polyurethane (with UV blocker) topped by 2 coats of clear flat enamel to take the shine off.

COMMENTS: Unlike the normal "C4" type bowl, this one has a smooth, continuous curve from the rim to the middle, making the inside shape look like a wok. The under-rim curve is different, so the rim thickens from the edge in toward the base. It really looks neat and although this is the first bowl I've turned with this shape, I like it so much that I'm sure it won't be the last. LATER NOTE: I've done several more of this shape.

I ALWAYS POINT OUT ANYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE COMMENTED ON. THESE ARE (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED) THINGS THAT DO NOT DETRACT FROM THE BEAUTY OF THE BOWL, BUT I WANT TO BE SURE I GIVE A COMPLETE DESCRIPTION. SO ... the ebony in the BOX has a small wormhole and there is a slight lift in the bocote in the BOX where it touches the ebony. LATER: It's a nice little bowl, but there is a noticeable chip-out on the very bottom (see pic below) so I've dropped the price from $75 to clearance ($35).
