BOX: the bottom is Honduras rosewood and the top is yellowheart over curly maple. The jagged lamination in the middle is, from the bottom up, redheart (sapwood), Honduras mahogany, purpleheart.
flaws/issues: There some tiny chip-outs where the canary from view 4 meets the paela in view 5
comments: the wenge in view 5 is not quite as dark as it shows up in the pics below. The purpleheart in the BOX is particularly nice in both color and chatoyancy, but the pieces are so small that you can hardly tell that.
