comments: the shape on this one is what I call the "wok" because it looks just like one of those Chinese cooking pans; the inside is one continuous smooth curve. The thickness increases as you move from the rim inward.
The bottom of the wenge at the top has a really neat grain pattern. The bubinga in the lower middle has ray flakes and is nicely chatoyant
flaws/issues: the black ash in the upper right has small internal cracks that are visible but do not detract from the bowl.
LATER: the canary in the upper left and the yellowheart at the top middle have both gotten darker since these pics were taken many years ago. The video is recent and shows the colors correctly
