view 5: padak, bocote, maple veneer, BOX

view 6: purpleheart, yellowheart, padauk veneer, BOX

view 8: padauk over bocote sapwood, cumaru, wenge, maple veneer, BOX

BOX: top and bottom sections are bocote, lower two sections are wenge, upper two sections are yellowheart

flaws/issues: the bocote in view one has an internal crack which would have caused me to reject the piece had I known the crack was there, but it's not all that serious a flaw, and it is a natural wood flaw, not a flaw in the creation of the bowl

comments: both the look and the feel of this one are outstanding; gorgeous woods throughout and definitely one of my best efforts in shape- and pattern-creation and priced accordingly

view 1c --- just about real-size and showing the ray flakes but not the chatoyancy of the yellowheart in views 4 and 6
