view 2: zircote over padauk, wenge, hard maple, BOX

view 3: purpleheart backed by pine over cypress backed by walnut, all of that over aromatic red cedar (small arc) and backed by Honduras mahogany, BOX

view 4: sipe, padauk, BOX

view 6: shedua, redheart, redheart, BOX

view 7: yellowheart, Honduras mahogany, BOX

view 8: shedua, curly maple, mahogany, BOX

BOX: going up the middle: Honduras rosewood, padauk, wenge, Senegal rosewood, Honduras rosewood, ebony veneer, padauk. On the lower left and lower right sides are small wedges of walnut then mahogany then redheart (pink sapwood)

flaws/issues: the bottom of the curly maple in view 8 is slightly rough near the rim (it tore instead of peeling while I was turning it and I didn't get it sanded down properly)

comments: The yellowheart in view 7 is highly chatoyant
