BOX: pairs from the bottom up; redheart, narra, wenge, chechem sided by chechem, curly maple sided by ebony veneer then padauk. Outer wedges on left and right are maple.

flaws/issues: There was a tiny chip-out in the lower rim of the base and if you look closely you'll see a slight flattening of the rim where I sanded it down.

comments: Personally, I just love this one. The combination of contrasting, and beautiful, pieces of wood plus the graceful shape make it one of my favorites.

All of the maple pieces throughout this bowl show quartersawn faces with nice ray flakes, especially the pair in the BOX
