flaws/issues: none

comments: I'm often disappointed when I use curly maple as a base to find that the curl doesn't show very well, but this bowl is just the opposite; the curly in the base looks terrific.

The BOX in this one is what I call "Navajo" because it was inspired by what I recall of seeing native indian rug weaving out west in the 1950's. I particularly like the way it turned out, which is a good thing because it sure is a lot of extra work to get this effect.

The chechem in view 1 is a standout piece (and it is lightly chatoyant) and there are several other particularly nice pieces of wood in this one.
