view 1: cocobolo, ash veneer, then two wedges; aromatic red cedar on the left and ? on the right, both over aromatic red cedar, cherry thin, 4-thick laminate of wenge veneer and ash thins, BOX

view 2: osage orange (with a small crack that shows up as a dark line), pine, fir, BOX

view 3: bubinga, cocobolo, mahogany thin, padauk, fir, BOX

view 4: cherry(?), buginga, cypress, very thin walnut, BOX

view 5: mahogany, walnut over holly veneer, ? (tan/brown wood), 4-thick laminate of wenge veneer and ash thins, BOX

BOX: bottom is cocobolo sided by sapele(?), upper portion is a laminate of wenge veneer, padauk veneer, and maple thins, all sided by padauk sided by hard maple.

flaws/issues: There was a slight problem with cross-grain chip-out at the inside of the rim in view 3 and although I fixed it with sandpaper, I did have to leave a slightly noticeable rough spot in the bubinga that angles in from view 4.
