Lower left is a tiny sliver of red oak, then ? (striped brown wood), pine, then walnut sided by narra, then a little strip of pine sided by ? (might be cherry), then walnut veneer then a little strip of mahogany sided by curly mahogany then a larger rectangle of pine sided by curly mahogany, then walnut then pine then walnut, then the lamination of view 4

flaws/issues: The elm in view 5 has a crack. It doesn't appear to be a stress separation in the glued up bowl but rather a drying crack in the wood, but whatever it is, it is visible (see view 8a below) and very noticble to the touch.

The pine in view 7 has a crack that shows up as a dark line in the wood (see the orientation view above). There is a poor glue joint in the lower right side of the BOX and the Western red cedar in view 3 has a crack that only shows on the bottom of the bowl.

The aromatic red cedar in view 6 has a less than perfect glue join on the left side. This is noticeable both visually and to the touch, but you don't see it unless you look for it.

comments: Other than the two small cracks, which do not appreciable detract from the bowl, it's pretty nice, particularly if you like the sort of "jagged" look. The osage orange in view 1 is particularly nice, with some brownish streaking that gives it a nice golden color rather than the more normal bright yellow. The omega curves inside the rim of view 3 (see far side of view 8a below) are quite nice.

because of the flaws I have priced this one quite low.
