view 1: spalted red oak, canary, machiche, BOX

view 2: zircote over red oak over zircote, red oak, redheart, BOX

view 3: afrormosia, zebrawood, cocobolo, yellowheart, BOX

view 4: canary

view 5: chechem, mahogany, BOX

view 6: makore, zircote over maple veneer over zircote over bloodwood over cowtree (or maybe basswood), cowtree, jatoba, paela

view 7: aromatic red cedar, zircote, bocote, aromatic red cedar, BOX

view 8: aromatic red cedar, maple

BOX: from the bottom; mahogany(?), aromatic red cedar sapwood, maple veneer, purpleheart veneer, maple veneer, then the center section left to right; osage orange, bocote, redheart, then at the top is redheart.

flaws/issues: the aromatic red cedar at the rim of view 7 has a knot that is not entirely solid, as you can see in the pic below

comments: the bocote in the center looks a little better than what shows up here --- it is an unusually dark piece and beautifully complements the other woods throughout the bowl.
