COMMENTS: The chechem on the left side is spectacular (HIGHLY chatoyant, the mahogany on the right side is unusually nice, the outer cocobolo in the lower left has a wonderful grain change, separated by a thick black band that looks like thick ebony veneer (this has been muted by the wood's darkening since the bowl was turned), the purpleheart in the middle has nice ray flakes as does the black ash on the upper part of the lower right rim. Many of the woods around the outside of the rim exhibit excellent chatoyancy
