view 1: cherry(?), Honduras rosewood, curly mahogany, BOX

view 2: redheart, paela over bocote on the left and mahogany on the right, billy webb wood, BOX

view 3: zircote over mahogany over prima vera over ebony veneer over machiche over maple veneer over prima vera, then basswood, aromatic red cedar, fir, BOX

view 4: bocote, aromatic red cedar both over lacewood(?), canary, bubinga veneer, oak, then osage orange, BOX

view 5: billy webb wood, BOX

view 6: mahogany over a lamination that starts on the left with afrormosia, then aromatic red cedar and several woods including zebrawood end grain, then there is aromatic red cedar, padauk, BOX

view 7: redheart, thick walnut veneer, maple veneer, ebony veneer, thick walnut veneer, aromatic red cedar, prima vera, Peruvian walnut, aromatic red cedar, BOX

BOX: middle is redheart sided by dark cocobolo sided by white oak. Above the middle is maple sided by redheart, with paela over both. Below the middle is mahogany(?) sided by walnut

flaws/issues: the redheart in the center of the box has a bad internal crack that didn't show up until I turned down to that part of the wood. Unfortunate, but wood is like that sometimes.

comments: This one is a little on the "busy" side, with several complex laminations around the rim. The lamination in view 7 turned out particularly well
