BOX: the vertical pieces through the middle are, from left to right; paela, eucalyptus, cocobolo, paela, thick walnut veneer, maple veneer, bubinga veneer, 2 plys of maple veneer, bubinga veneer, thick oak veneer, bocote, dark cocobolo, paela, redheart. The horizontal piecs are, from bottom to top; aromatic red cedar, leopardwood, paduak, ? veneer, mahogany veneer, birch veneer (end grain, so it looks darker than it otherwise would), mahogany veneer (also end grain), redheart, cowtree, silky oak, machiche, oak veneer, machiche

flaws/issues: there are a couple of cross-grain chipouts in the BOX --- specifically, at the upper edge of the paela on the left and at the lower edge of the redheart on the right. There are a couple of pin-holes (from boring insects) in the hickory in view 1. The redheart in view 4 has a mild crack and the paela in view 5 has a significant crack. The bright red woods have faded to brown and the canary has darkened somewhat. The colors throughout are more subdued. The price has been dropped from $145 to $95 because of this.

comments: The rim is deliberately thick on this one
