BOX: upper left and lower left are chechem, upper right and lower right are chechem then redheart. Horizontal lamination is, from the center upwards and downwards (mirrored), redheart, ebony veneer, silky oak, ebony veneer, andiroba(?), ebony veneer, redheart
flaws/issues: There is a slight lift of the edge (due to movement in service) of the wenge in view 6 as it comes into the rim in view 8. It's not noticible but you can see it if you know to look for it, and you can definitely feel it with your finger tip. I have reduce the price slightly because of it.
comments: both pieces of mahogany in view 2 are nicely chatoyant as is the oxhorn in view 5.
I really like the pattern in this one and the selection of woods, but I do think it would have been better if the BOX were centered instead of looking as though it is offset to the left.
