BOX: from the bottom up; poplar, purpleheart, yellowheart, jagged lamination, yellowheart, yew. Lower left slant is yellowheart, upper left slant is Honduras rosewood, lower right slant is afrormosia, upper right slant is wenge. On the left is a wedge of padauk and on the right is a wedge of prima vera. The jagged lamination is, from bottom to top, bubinga, ? (tan-colored wood), yellowheart, machiche, redheart, bocote, cowtree.

comments: several of the woods in the rim are chatoyant, especially the chechem in rim 8 which is highly chatoyant.
Lots of really nice woods throughout this one.
