C218 --- $85.00

diameter: 7"
height: 2 1/2"
shipping weight: 1lb 12oz (when asking about shipping costs, please don't forget to give me your zip code)

finish: 10 thin coats of satin-finish spar polyurethane (with UV blocker)

comments: The wenge in the upper left was chosen for its irregular grain and it turned out extremely well; wish I had a lot more of that. The yew at the bottom seems particularly nice to me. There are some nice omega curves inside the rim.

flaws/issues: There is a tiny "rise" of the middle at the lower left that you cannot see but you can just feel it with your finger. Similarly there is a tiny rise in the joint between at the upper left and upper right on the outer rim that is visible if you catch the light just right and definitely perceptible to a finger touch.

LATER: Overall, the bowl looks slightly less vibrant now than it did years ago when these pics were taken but basically it's what you see is what you get.
