base view 1, top down: birch veneer, makore, sapele, ? (might be pine, might be yellowheart), zircote. The whole thing is backed by maple veneer,

base view 3: middle is mahogany sided by goncalo alves, all over padauk

base view 5, top down: bubinga, holly veneer, padauk veneer, maple veneer, padauk veneer, maple veneer, padauk veneer, maple veneer, holly veneer, ? (brown, probably saple but could be mahogany) over a small strip of mahogany then redheart then purpleheart on the bottom. The whole thing is backed by maple veneer.

base view 7: padauk sided by cowtree

center: all four inner sections and all 4 edge sections are mahogany. The edge sections also show up on the rim.

view 1: center section from the top down: African mahogany, cocobolo, silky oak, padauk veneer, cowtree, walnut veneer, maple veneer, padauk veneer, maple veneer, canary. Slant on left from the lower left is aromatic red cedar, walnut veneer, maple veneer, walnut veneer, thick mahogany veneer. Slant on right from the lower right is yellowheart, aromatic red cedar, maple veneer, mahogany veneer, maple veneer, walnut veneer. The center section is sided by redheart and the whole thing is over pine? and backed by red oak. To the sides of that are mirrored lamination (although the one on the left only has the mahogany remaining) of, top to bottom: redheart, maple veneer, padauk veneer, maple veneer, mahogany, purpleheart.

view 3: Center section is paela backed by walnut, maple veneer, walnut with an aromatic red cedar thin under all of that (but turned off except under the walnut)

view 5: Center section, top to bottom, is aromatic red cedar, maple veneer, walnut veneer, maple veneer, oak veneer. That section is sided by sipo and the whole thing is over ebony veneer over cowtree. All of that is backed by aromatic red cedar that has a thin piece of aromatic red cedar under it (that turned into a arc)

comments: I particularly like the way the African blackwood came out on the base in view 1.

views 1c, 3c, 5c, 7c ---the purpleheart, while exceptionally bright, is not quite as bright as these pics show it to be and the Billy Webb wood in view 7c is more brown than the golden color shown here.
