N14 --- $SOLD --- this is the orientation view --- more pics down below (NOTE: the osage orange at the right in this pic is shown as brighter than the actual wood)

diameter: 6 1/2 inches
height: 4 3/8 inch

finish: one application of natural stain then two coats of high gloss spar polyurethane (with UV blocker)

WOODS USED: [SEE DISCUSSION ON THE MAIN PAGE OF THIS SITE IF ANY OF THIS IS UNCLEAR]

base: African mahogany and ? (one of those obscure filler woods)

center: redwood

view 1: oak, padauk, oak

view 3: mahogany, osage orange over mahog over zebra (with a veneer in between each)

view 5: left to right: aromatic red cedar then walnut then tulipwood, all backed by yew then all over zebra over purpleheart

view 7: bocote over red aromatic cedar, all backed by walnut laminate and all over osage orange then a laminate, then mahogany? then laminate

flaws/issues: behind the 3-part section there are two small pieces of brown wood with edge flaws and one of these is quite obvious from the top of the bowl --- that one is shown in a side view at the bottom of this page.

The osage orange in view #3 has a knothole crack, but this is just character, not a flaw.

comments: none

views 1b and 3c --- the knot crack in the osage orange shows up better in the orientation pic at the top of the page than it does in this view
