base: mahogany

view 1: bocote heartwood backed by sapwood, canary, hard maple veneer, purpleheart (and a VERY PURPLE piece it is!), BOX

view 3: red maple (the plank was curly but this piece doesn't show any curl), oak, BOX

BOX: bottom is walnut then yellowheart, top is walnut then green-colored tulip poplar. Middle is (from the left) cherry over wenge, pine over ? (brown wood, might be mahogany), yellowheart over flaky bloodwood, and then the mirror of those 3 sections

flaws/issues: none

comments: The purpleheart in view 1 and the flaky bloodwood in the box are the real standouts for this bowl but the bocote in view 5 is also excellent.
