finish: one coat of natural stain then 5 thin coats of dewaxed shellac topped by 2 coats of clear flat enamel to take the shine off.
COMMENTS: Slightly unusual type C3 in that the inner rim is straight up and down but the outer rim is curved like a type C1. I think this works quite well. The middle is a standout with nice contrasting woods in an interesting pattern and the outer rim is generally gorgeous with beautiful osage orange and purpleheart plus ovals that make for a pleasing pattern.
