Rather than do my usual thing of getting out my engineering drawing tools and trying to do a scale drawing of the house,
I decided in the interests of time, "Nah ... just wing it". SO ... this is only roughly representational
of reality, but mated up w/ the pics will give you some idea of how it all ties together.
I feel quite confident that Kim and Art will not appreciate my categorization
of the contents of their back yard as "stuff", but hey ...

from the dining area towards the bathroom

through the hall doorway, towards the bathroom and showing the Lindsey kids's pictures

from the dining area towards the living room

from the dining area towards the sliding glass door in the back --- pointing the camera at the light out back swamps out all of the excellent light inside the room.

from the dining area towards the kitchen, which is mostly behind the wall to the right. When I first looked into this, I thought, wow, they have really got some terrific flourescent bulbs in the kitchen but no ... what they have is a really great skylight and there's one over the living room area too.

from the back door to the left (the kitchen is just to the right)

from the back door into the kitchen, just showing the skylight.

from the back door area into the kitchen on the left and just barely into the dining area on the right

from the back door into the dining area with the living room on the right. The big window caused me light problems; as you can tell from the other pics, the lighting throughout the room is MUCH better than this.

from the back door into the living room; front door on the left, the girl's room just through the door on the right.

from the back door into the living room; sorry about the out-of-focus

from the back door along the wall into the living room

What Kim charmingly categorizes as "the dead things on the wall"

more dead things

middle of the room towards the front door. Check out neat painting behind the post.

the nifty painting by the front door

A picture of a picture. This was such a terrific picture of the family that I had to get it in. Lucy, Art, Kim, Mackensie.

Susie back in her bear cave at the back of the house.

I didn't explore Kim and Art's space and I didn't get any pics of the garage, although it was definitely my kind of place, just STUFFED with tools and stuff to where you had to pretend to be skinny to move around in it, much like mine, but bigger and with more stuff.
